SNEAKER CON NEW YORK - March 1st

Sneakerheads get ready for a new convention debuting in NYC next month. Sneaker Con is a convention for both buyers and sellers of sneakers, streetwear, and related accessories.

That mixtape in collaboration with New York streetwear brand 10.Deep Clothing as a free download. The mixtape features a guest appearance from DC rapper Wale and caught the attention of Kanye West which spawned his signing to the GOOD Music Label.


In early September 2008, he performed at the 2008 VMAs along side Travis Barker and DJ AM. Kid Cudi is featured on Kanye West's 2008 album, 808s & Heartbreak, singing with him on the track named "Welcome to Heartbreak", providing additional vocals on "Paranoid" and helping with songwriting on "Heartless". Even though it was never released as a single as yet, "Welcome to Heartbreak" managed to peak at number eighty-seven on the Pop 100.

He is finishing up his debut album Man on the Moon: The Guardians for a Summer 2009 release.

In December 2008, Kid Cudi featured on the longlist for the BBC News website's Sound of 2009 poll of up-and-coming acts.

Cudi is featured in the Kanye West video Welcome to Heartbreak off the 808 and Heartbreak album.
